Why call it Beer Salt?

Updated: Nov 25, 2020

Why not? We love beer and our chili lime seasoning makes it even better.

It might sound weird, but in Mexico and South America people have been putting salt in their beer for a long time and here are a few reasons you should try it.

First, no one wants a heavy beer on a hot day - but lagers lack taste. That's where salt comes in. Salt enhances flavor and can add the illusion of body to a light beer. It can make any beer taste good.

Here's another reason you might like it, salt can cut down on carbonation. Fewer bubbles help a Chelda go down easy and will leave you feeling less bloated.

ManAmerican's specialty beer salt gives your beer a nice full body taste with a hint of citrus. You can rim your glass and make it fancy or just shake it right into the bottle.

If your ready to take your beer drinking to the next level. Drop the lime and pick up a beer salt. It taste better and is easier to put in your pocket.

Serving Suggestions

Pick you beer wisely. Salty stout doesn't taste good. Go for something lighter. Beer salt works well with the American classics, Bud, Miller Lite, and PBR are all good choices. At ManAmerican we also like Stones Tropic of Thunder. Our favorite is New Belgium Mountain Time Lager, try it with MAN's Beer Salt. Good Stuff.
